I FINALLY Tried the Official Drink of La Paz: Doble Canala

The Doble Canala was born in La Paz at Bar Mundo – but it’s always sounded awful. With things I hate: Clam Juice and Tomato Juice. So I put off trying it until 2 weeks before I head north. And now I regret the delay. the Doble Canala is a delicious combination of flavors – all better than any of the individual parts on their own!

Here’s the recipe for this unique Mexican drink:
1) one big beer
2) Clamato Juice (add Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor, maybe throw in some lime.)
3) Shot of vodka (substitute tequila because it’s Mexico.)
4) Salt or tajine for around the glass or bottle.
5) Old newspaper to keep it cold.
