Querétaro is a gorgeous old Mexican town. Beautiful historic center, but a big enough city so that it doesn’t feel like Disney World. I spent hours walking around Centro and share my experience in this video tour.
Querétaro (QRO) is about 4 hours north of Mexico City with easy bus service and an airport. I flew into QRO from Mexico City and then took a BlaBla Car to San Miguel de Allende about one hour away.
I found QRO to be more my speed than SMA. There are many expats in Querétaro but not as many as San Miguel de Allende.
I’ll be headed back to QRO with Kat in the near future.
