Even a US Doctor Can Work Remotely From Mexico

I met Kim in Puerto Vallarta this summer. She’s a 50-year-old pediatrician who decided she wanted to live in Mexico, so she redesigned her life. She left her clinical practice and got a job with a pharmaceutical company. She lives part-time in a house she bought in Puerto Vallarta and half-time in Chicago, going back and forth throughout the year.

If you’re in the US or Canada and thinking of moving to Mexico, you don’t need to wait until you retire. Many people in their 40s and 50s are moving to Mexico. More US companies are allowing their employees to work overseas. And people like Kim are getting jobs that allow them to live overseas. You can take your current skill set to a new company. It’s a “job seekers” market. Now’s the time to put your plan in place.
