Kat and I have tried a number of options for getting US mail while we are living 6 months per year in Mexico. We’ve finally decides on the best option: Traveling Mailbox. https://travelingmailbox.com/?ref=1414 (using this link supports my YouTube channel)
In this video, I share what we tried, what worked and what did not work. And I go into detail about how Traveling Mailbox works.
Traveling Mailbox is a virtual mailbox, where you forward your US mail (you can also just use their address.) They scan the mail and it shows up in a private web portal where you can tell them to open, scan, shred, forward, deposit checks or hold the mail for you to get at a future date. They also allow you to pause the service – something important for us part-time Mexico residents – without needing to get a new address each year.
There are a couple of tiers depending on how much mail you get or how many names you need on the account.
