For our 19th wedding anniversary, I took Kat to Tiramisu in La Paz. BTW, I offered to take her to Oliva al Mare, which is fancy, but she preferred the more affordable, low-key Tiramisu.
Tiramisu is an Italian restaurant in La Paz Mexico, where we live during the winters. Our wedding was April 19, 2003 so we’ve been celebrating in Mexico before returning to Portland Oregon for the summers.
Tiramisu doesn’t serve alcohol, but you can bring your own bottle of wine. I’ve heard the owner will sit with you and drink from your bottle on a slow night. It’s a pretty small place with just a few tables along the sidewalk. I’ve heard people raving about it, but we didn’t think it was as good as our favorite (affordable) Italian place which is Beretta on Pino Payas.
