Although Kat and I bought a place in Mexico, you might choose to rent and move around. Or you may buy a place and then still move around. I’ve met people who live inland, but have timeshares on the beach, or just find a monthly rental for the winter. Or vice versa. Many people who live in the hotter beach areas move inland during the summer. Or travel to Europe or the US during the summer.

There are endless ways you can leave the United States. Mexico is an easy destination, but you can combine it with other places too.

And you don’t need to be a digital nomad – you can just be retired or take a sabbatical!
