You MUST do this in La Paz: the Malecón on Sunday Night

My favorite thing to do in La Paz is to hang out on the Malecón on a Sunday night.

This video was shot in the spring of 2022, the night of the election, so the Malecón was extra exciting. But all Sunday nights are magical.

Typically you’ll find
Lots of car traffic creeping along slower than the pedestrians
Families, couples, teenagers
Entertainment and bands
Bars and restaurants that are brimming with patrons
Street Food
Toys
Skateboards, bikes, rollerblades
Lots of smiling people
Ice cream
Mostly Mexicans with a few gringos mixed in
